The group ATEEZ has once again proven its status as a global powerhouse by topping a major U.S. Billboard chart.
According to a preview article released by the U.S. music media outlet Billboard on July 5 (local time), ATEEZ reached No. 1 on the main album chart, the Billboard 200, with their 14th mini-album, GOLDEN HOUR : Part.5, which was released on June 26.
The album recorded a total of 228,000 album units, combining 223,000 in traditional album sales and streaming equivalent album (SEA) units. This marks a new personal record for ATEEZ's first-week sales in the U.S., surpassing the 195,000 units achieved by their 13th mini-album, GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4, released in February.
With this achievement, ATEEZ has now secured their third No. 1 on the Billboard 200, following their second studio album THE WORLD EP.FIN : WILL, their 11th mini-album GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2, and now this 14th mini-album.
Furthermore, since first entering the Billboard 200 Top 10 with their 8th mini-album THE WORLD EP.1 : MOVEMENT, the group has now placed nine consecutive albums in the Top 10. With this, ATEEZ continues to hold the record for the most entries in the Billboard 200 Top 10 among K-pop groups in the 2020s.
ATEEZ also achieved a career-high in South Korea with this album. They surpassed 1.88 million copies in first-week sales, breaking their own record and achieving "million-seller" status for the seventh time in their career.
The title track, BAD, is also enjoying global popularity. Following their first U.S. broadcast performance on NBC's The Kelly Clarkson Show, the group took first place on KBS2's Music Bank, which aired on July 3, demonstrating their active presence both domestically and internationally.
Meanwhile, ATEEZ is scheduled to meet fans at their 2026 fan meeting, ATINY'S VOYAGE : TINY MYSTERY, which will be held at the Hw정 Gymnasium at Korea University in Seoul from July 17 to 19.
