During school breaks, many parents worry about providing lunch for their children during summer vacation.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government is now accepting applications for "Seoul Kids' Hearty Meal," a program that provides both lunch and childcare for elementary school students.
The program is aimed at elementary school students aged 6 to 12 who face a gap in care during vacation, such as those from dual-income or single-parent households.
It will operate from July 20 to August 21 at approximately 20 locations, including local children's centers.
The fee for five weekdays of use is 10,000 won.
In addition to lunch, children can also participate in various programs, including play, reading, and VR experiences.
Applications for the first session can be made starting at 10:00 a.m. the day after tomorrow, the 8th, via the "Our Neighborhood Kiwoom Portal."
