A worker in his 60s, identified as Mr. A, died after being caught in a rope and striking a transmission tower while dismantling insulators in Bongmyeong-ri, Cheongil-myeon, Hoengseong-gun, Gangwon Province, at approximately 2:40 p.m. on June 13.

According to fire authorities, workers were using a winch to lower heavy objects at the transmission tower dismantling site at the time of the accident, and Mr. A was holding a rope on the opposite side.
