[SBS Star] Sooyoung's New Film Collaborated with Japan!
Singer/actress Sooyoung from K-pop girl group Girls' Generation confirmed she takes the main role of the upcoming film collaborated with the Japanese productions.

On March 22, it has been officially announced that Sooyoung will be the main female protagonist of the film 'Memories of a Dead End' (literal translation).

With the original novel written by the prestigious Japanese writer Yoshimoto Banana, the film draws a love story of lovers who go through turning points in their lives although they believed they were the last love of each other.

The filming of the movie will begin from April in Japan, and the film is still in process of recruiting the casts.

Meanwhile, Sooyoung has actively begun her career as an actress since October 2017.

Instead of having a renewal contract with her previous agency SM Entertainment, she found a new agency to support her concentrate on acting.

Besides her activities as an artist, Sooyoung has been in various works such as the drama 'Man in the Kitchen', '38 Revenue Collection Unit', and many more.

Although she has been in the film 'Hello, Schoolgirl' (2008), it is her first time to play the female protagonist in the film.

From her active accomplishments, the public pays attention to her career in acting.
