K-pop boy group EXO's 'Ko Ko Bop' has become the most tweeted song of the year. 

According to Twitter, EXO's 4th album's title track 'Ko Ko Bop' has been the most tweeted song worldwide, proving the group's global popularity.
 
Also, EXO's official Twitter account '@weareoneEXO' has the most number of followers among celebrities who made Twitter account this year.

Ever since the song was released this July, 'Ko Ko Bop' was listed as No.1, attracting many fans' attention. EXO has successfully shown its reggae-pop genre track in powerful and soft movements. 
It also drew many fans' worldwide. There were numerous dance covers for 'Ko Ko Bop' choreography, known as 'KoKoBop Challenge'. It has been a trend worldwide including Argentina and The Philippines.

Also, EXO was listed as No.1 in Korea's Gaon Digital Singles Chart for 4 weeks straight, downloaded over 1 million times. As EXO's 4th album 'THE WAR' was sold more than 1 million copies, EXO earned a nickname of 'quadruple million seller'. 

Moreover, EXO was listed as No.1 in iTunes Album Chart in 42 countries, No.1 on Billboard's World Album Chart for two weeks, No.1 in Japan's Tower Records 'Best Sellers 2017' in the K-pop imported album sector. 

EXO is expected to hold 'EXO PLANET #4 – The EℓyXiOn – in JAPAN' in Marinemesse Fukuoka, Japan on December 22-24, continuing its 4th concert tour.
