Did you know that Korean actor Lee Minho is popular even in Africa?

Recently, Miss Universe Korea Cho SeWhee shared an interesting incident while she talked with Miss Universe Ghana, Ruth Quarshie. 
On November 30, Miss Universe Korea Cho SeWhee posted a photo with Miss Universe Ghana along with captions, "My beloved Ruth asked me for Goo Jun Pyo's phone number and home address for about 80 times now." 

She continued, "Asking me whether it's her turn, now that he broke up with his girlfriend... I didn't even know who he dated. If anyone knows Lee Minho's contact number please inform me." 
Goo Jun Pyo is the character Lee Minho played in the past drama 'Boys Over Flowers', which is known to be one of the popular dramas throughout Africa. 
Even in the past, Ghanaian television personality Sam Okyere talked about how popular 'Boys Over Flowers' is in Africa as well as Lee Minho. He even said, "My Ghana friends ask me whether I'm friend with Lee Minho." 
Lee Minho is currently serving his mandatory duty as a social worker in Gangnam-gu Office, Seoul.
