[SBS Star] Jung Hae In "I dream because I want to be happy, not unfortunate"
Recent rising star Jung Hae In reveals he is more concerned about having diverse experiences and improving his acting abilities over getting more popularity. 

On November 21, a source revealed about actor Jung's reaction to his recent popularity from 'While You Were Sleeping'.

According to the interview, Jung Hae In said, "I'm thankful for all that loving attention. I'm embarrassed when people look at me in a positive way. But right now, the most important things to me are having diverse experiences as well as improving my acting abilities."

He continued, "I don't mind getting scolded about my acting skills. I want to be an actor like actor Shin Ha-kyun and Park Haeil." 

Jung Hae In first made a debut in the TV series 'The Three Musketeers'(2014), and appeared on diverse popular works which include, 'Bride of the Century' (2014), 'Blood' (2015), 'Night Light' (2016), 'Yeah, That's How It Is' (2016), and 'While You Were Sleeping' (2017).

Then just one year after his debut as an actor, he was cast in the upcoming movie 'The Age of Blood' (2017)―showing his full potential with diverse charms. 

He said, "Since I debuted late anyways, I didn't have much nervousness or impatience."

He continued, "When I was 21 years old, I decided to enlist in the military without knowing much things. But as I knew that I wanted to work for a long time, I thought it would be best to finish my military duties and start my career. In the military, I've chosen path to become an actor and after I was discharged I started preparing to become an actor. Now I just need to work hard." 

He smiled and said, "To be honest, whether my assessment is positive or negative, I try not to be affected by it. I try to keep up with my works quietly and diligently. I think I need that if I want to continue my career as an actor." 

He added, "I don't mind debuting late as an actor. I dream because I want to be happy, not unfortunate. So I don't look up that much. If I put my head down, I can earn more and know how to be thankful. I want to continue my career for a long time with this kind of mindset."

Then an interviewer asked him, "Where do you see yourself in 10 years?" 

Actor Jung smiled and replied, "I'm probably be acting. I want to be an actor who can be soaked into the public slowly. I want to be healthy and happy for a long time. I wish to repay my fans with better acting skills."

Actor Jung's recent drama 'While You Were Sleeping' ended last week.

He will now be part of tvN's much-anticipated TV series 'Prison Playbook', which is set to go on air starting on November 22. Also, his first movie 'The Age of Blood' is slated for release on November 23.
