[SBS Star] BoA & Joowon to Break-up After 1-Year Romance

Korean actor Joowon and singer BoA confirmed, they've decided to break up after one year of dating.

On November 13, Joowon and BoA both confirmed on their decision to go separate ways.

A representative for BoA verified to SBS funE, "It's true that they broke up." Joowon's representative also agreed on the news.

They were one-year apart, BoA being one year older than Joowon. They started dating since last January. They had a similar interest in music, acting, golfing and eventually developed their relationship as romantic partners. However, one year later, they've decided to remain as colleagues.

Joowon entered the third division recruit training battalion in Cherwon, Gangwondo in last June, and finished 5 weeks-long basic training. He is currently serving in the 'White Skull Division' as an assistant instructor. He is expected to be discharged from the military on February 15, 2019. 

BoA debuted in 2000 as Asia's star. Not only she was a talented singer, but also was a charming actress. She starred in the movie 'Big Match' (2014) and in the drama 'My Wife's Having an Affair this Week' (2016). Recently, she took part as a host in Mnet's 'Produce 101 Season 2'.
