[SBS Star] Former AOA Kwon Min-ah Declines Police Investigation Into Alleged Bullying
K-pop girl group AOA's former member/actress Kwon Min-ah has rejected the police investigation into the alleged bullying controversy involving the group's members.

On August 13, JoongAng Ilbo reported that the Gangnam Police Station had started up an internal investigation into the alleged bullying Kwon Min-ah received during her AOA days.

In response to the report, however, Kwon Min-ah's current agency Woori Actors revealed that she is hesitant to proceed with the investigation as she does not want to make the issue any bigger.

A representative from Woori Actors told media, "Kwon Min-ah and our agency have already refused to have the case investigated. As the person directly involved in the case, she doesn't want the investigation to proceed."

The representative added, "She is still in an unstable condition, so we are putting her mental health/emotional stability as our priority. We ask for everyone's understanding to let her fully focus on her recovery."

On August 11, Kwon Min-ah closed her personal Instagram account after letting her fans know that she met her former boss, AOA's agency FNC Entertainment CEO, and accepted his personal apology.

She then expressed her regret in the situation, saying, "I apologize once again to everyone who was harmed because of me, and to everyone who may have been shocked by my posts."

For the time being, the former AOA member will reportedly focus on receiving treatments for her mental health.
