[SBS Star] JYJ Park Yu Chun's Agency Terminates Contract & Announces His Retirement

C-JeS Entertainment has decided to terminate its exclusive contract with Park Yu Chun of K-pop boy group JYJ after he tested positive for drugs.

On April 24, C-JeS Entertainment released an official statement to announce Park Yu Chun's departure from the agency.
The agency's statement reads as follows:

Hello, this is C-JeS Entertainment.

We have been following the investigation process with trust in Park Yu Chun's statement that he is not guilty, but we learned through news reports yesterday that the National Forensic Service test results showed positive.

We waited for the investigation results to come out while believing the testimony of Park Yu Chun, who was an artist under our agency, but we feel miserable that we encountered with such results. 

We came to a conclusion that we won't be able to recover a trustful relationship with Park Yu Chun and decided to terminate our exclusive contract with Park Yu Chun.

As previously stated during the press conference, Park Yu Chun will be retiring from the entertainment industry.

Further scheduled activities from today forward will be canceled, and he will follow the court's decision.

The agency deeply acknowledges the gravity and responsibility for this situation, and we will do our best to prevent such incidents from happening again through strict regulations and reformation of policy.

Once again, we bow our heads in apology for causing concerns with such an unfortunate event.
Back on April 23, police announced that the hair follicles collected from Park's leg tested positive for methamphetamine.
