LG Electronics announced on Tuesday (July 7) that its preliminary operating profit for the second quarter of this year reached 1.5788 trillion won on a consolidated basis, marking a 146.9% increase compared to the same period last year.

The company's revenue for the second quarter stood at 23.8297 trillion won, an increase of 14.9% from the same period last year.
