Musical actor Ock Joo-hyun has revisited the so-called 'Ok-Jangpan' controversy that emerged four years ago.

At the time, when the cast for the musical Elisabeth was announced, there was speculation regarding whether Ock had influenced the casting process through her personal connections.

Subsequently, Kim Ho-young posted on social media, "The old days were a mess, now it's an 'Ok-Jangpan' (Ock-floor mat)," which fueled the controversy. Ock filed a defamation lawsuit against Kim but later withdrew it.

On July 6, Ock stated on a fan communication platform that she had never received an apology regarding the incident.

She claimed that the only thing she heard from Kim Ho-young was, "Thank you for withdrawing the lawsuit; I wasn't targeting you, I was promoting a friend's father's floor mat business."

She added that looking back, her biggest regret was withdrawing the lawsuit, and expressed sadness over gaining the nickname 'Ok-Jangpan.'
