For those who have taken a break from work due to childbirth and childcare and are now preparing to re-enter the workforce, there is a subsidy you can apply for starting today.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government is recruiting 1,500 participants for the Seoul Career-Up Job Search Subsidy, targeting unemployed women between the ages of 30 and 59.

If selected, you can receive 300,000 won per month for up to 3 months, totaling 900,000 won, to cover expenses necessary for job hunting.

The funds can be used not only for academy tuition and purchasing textbooks but also for interview preparation and childcare costs.

Applications are open from today until August 18 on the Seoul Career-Up website.
