President Lee Jae-myung departs today, July 7, for a five-day trip to attend the NATO summit in Türkiye and pay a state visit to Mongolia.

President Lee will attend the NATO summit held in Ankara for two days and hold small-group meetings with representatives from Indo-Pacific partner nations, including Japan, Australia, and New Zealand.

On the following day, he is expected to hold bilateral meetings with countries that have expressed interest in cooperation in the defense industry.

Afterward, President Lee will pay a state visit to Mongolia and is scheduled to hold a summit with Mongolian President Ukhnaa Khurelsukh.
