The SBS drama 'General Manager Kim,' starring So Ji-sub, is generating significant buzz as it surpassed a 20% viewership rating in just four episodes.

In the fourth episode of 'General Manager Kim,' which aired this past Saturday, July 4, General Manager Kim was shown securing crucial evidence and embarking on a pursuit to find his daughter, Min-ji, alongside his old friends, Han-soo and Jin-chul.

The viewership rating for the episode was recorded at 21.6%.

This marks the third-highest rating in the history of SBS Friday-Saturday dramas, following 'The Penthouse 2' and 'The Fiery Priest.'

Yoon Kyung-ho, who plays the role of Jin-chul in the drama, is set to observe a vow of silence as part of a ratings pledge.

During the production presentation for 'General Manager Kim' last month on June 13, Yoon promised to observe a 13-hour vow of silence if the viewership ratings exceeded 13%.

With the ratings surpassing 15% in just two episodes, he is scheduled to fulfill his pledge on July 13.
