The "Grandson of the Wind," Lee Jung-hoo, will not be making his first appearance at Major League Baseball's "Midsummer Classic."

The MLB office officially announced the rosters for the All-Star Game, including starters, reserves, and pitchers for both leagues.

Lee, who had raised expectations by competing for the batting title this season, failed to make the cut for the National League (NL) outfielders or the manager's selection, postponing his All-Star debut to a future opportunity.

Meanwhile, MLB superstar Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers earned the honor of being the top vote-getter among fans across both leagues, marking his 6th career All-Star selection.

Ohtani has been named the starting designated hitter for the NL, boasting an OPS of 0.927 and 18 home runs this season.

In the American League (AL), Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees will wear an All-Star uniform for the 8th time.

Additionally, Mike Trout of the Angels was selected for his 12th career All-Star game, the most among all players on the roster.

Trout, who was recently sidelined due to a hamstring injury, is expected to be ready to participate in the All-Star festivities.

The consistency of veteran players also shone through.

Freddie Freeman (Dodgers) and Chris Sale (Atlanta Braves) both celebrated the joy of reaching their 10th career All-Star selection.

Bryce Harper (Philadelphia Phillies), a Commissioner's Office selection, was also named to his 9th All-Star game.

By team, the Dodgers, Atlanta, and Philadelphia led the league with 5 All-Stars each.

A large number of new faces also appeared on the list.

The roster includes 26 players experiencing their first All-Star selection, including four rookies such as Kevin McGonigle (Detroit Tigers).

Meanwhile, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Toronto Blue Jays), who finished first in fan voting for AL first basemen, withdrew due to a back injury. Nick Kurtz (Athletics), who received the most support in the player vote, has been granted the opportunity to start in his place.

This year's MLB All-Star Game will be held on July 15 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the home stadium of the Philadelphia Phillies.
