At approximately 7:06 p.m. today (July 4), a passenger car driven by a man in his 30s struck a 1-ton truck on the Pyeongtaek-Jecheon Expressway near the Cheondeungsan Service Area in the direction of Pyeongtaek, located in Sancheok-myeon, Chungju, North Chungcheong Province.

As a result of the accident, a woman in her 60s, who was a passenger in the front seat of the 1-ton truck, sustained minor injuries and is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.

The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
