Police and fire authorities launched a search operation after a post claiming that an explosive device had been planted at Gwangju Jeil High School in Gwangju was uploaded to an online community at approximately 11:50 a.m. today (July 4).

Police stated that they are currently searching the school grounds for any hazardous materials in coordination with fire authorities, and that no explosives have been discovered thus far.
