President Lee Jae-myung attended the National Report on the Development Vision for Advanced Industries in the Yeongnam Region, held in Jinju, Gyeongnam, and stated, "The Yeongnam region will take another step forward, moving beyond being No. 1 in domestic manufacturing to becoming the world's leader in manufacturing."

President Lee announced that concentrated investments will be made in the Yeongnam region across sectors such as AI data centers, aerospace, robotics, and physical AI, adding that the government will provide active support.

During the report, investment plans for the Yeongnam region totaling approximately 312 trillion won were announced by six companies, including Hanwha, Hyundai Motor, Samsung Electronics, SK Telecom, LG, and Doosan.
