Artifacts from the Museo Egizio in Turin, Italy, which houses one of the world's finest collections of Egyptian antiquities, will be showcased in Korea for the first time.
Cultural planning firm Gaudium Associates announced that it has signed a contract with the Museo Egizio to host the "Great Egyptian Civilization Exhibition: Glory of the Pharaohs."
The Museo Egizio in Turin is the world's first museum established in 1824 specifically dedicated to Egyptian artifacts.
The collection, which will visit Korea for the first time next year, consists of approximately 320 items, including Italian national treasures and numerous masterpieces of ancient Egyptian civilization.
"Great Egyptian Civilization Exhibition: Glory of the Pharaohs" is scheduled to begin in Seoul next May, followed by an exhibition in Daegu starting in October.
