Incheon Mayor Park Chan-dae and Superintendent of Education Do Seong-hun have officially begun their terms for the 9th popularly elected administration. Mayor Park announced his commitment to opening a new era for Incheon by fostering future high-tech industries such as bio, while Superintendent Do, the first three-term superintendent in Incheon, pledged to work toward completing an era of student success.

Mayor Park Chan-dae entered the inauguration ceremony to the cheers of citizens.
Immediately after taking the oath of office, he signed the Emergency 100-Day Project for People's Livelihood Recovery.
This demonstrated his determination to focus on the "recovery of the people's livelihood," a campaign promise he made during his candidacy, at the beginning of his term.
[Park Chan-dae/Incheon Mayor: I will take care of everything from citizens' wallets and dining tables, jobs and housing costs for young people, to medicine and hospital bills for seniors through a robust livelihood recovery project.]
He also presented a blueprint for Incheon's future.
He vowed to make artificial intelligence (AI), bio, cultural content, and energy the new future growth engines for Incheon, aiming to open an era with an average annual salary of 55 million won and leap forward as an economic city.

He also expressed his intention to revitalize declining original city centers, such as Jemulpo, the area around Munhak Stadium, and Bupyeong, by incorporating history, culture, and content.
He also revealed his will to rectify inflated projects pushed during the 8th popularly elected administration, such as the "Jemulpo Renaissance" and "Global Top 10 City," and to personally oversee key transportation network construction projects in Incheon that are currently in crisis.
[Park Chan-dae/Incheon Mayor: In addition to concerns over the delay in the (Seoul Subway) Line 7 (Cheongna) extension, even the Incheon Line 1 (Songdo) extension is at risk of falling through. I will thoroughly re-examine the books from scratch.]
Superintendent of Education Do Seong-hun, who succeeded in becoming the first directly elected three-term superintendent in Incheon, pledged to pour all his efforts into completing the "era of student success" over the remaining four years.

Through customized career, advancement, and vocational education that considers their aptitudes and talents, I will raise them as leaders of the future society who can design their own lives while maintaining their unique qualities.]
Superintendent Do plans to strengthen glocal education that leaps toward the world and implement warm, inclusive education where not a single child is left behind, regardless of their region or background.
