The two will attend the 25th New York Asian Film Festival, which begins on July 10. As 'Colony' has been selected as the opening film, the director and the lead actress have received official invitations to the festival. The opening film screening is scheduled for 7:00 PM local time on July 10.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, the New York Asian Film Festival is an Asian film festival that showcases a diverse range of genre films from across Asia.
'Colony' will kick off the festival as the opening film, and Director Yeon Sang-ho and Jun Ji-hyun are scheduled to visit the venue to greet the audience.

'Colony' previously garnered attention when it was invited to the Midnight Screenings section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival for its world premiere. It was subsequently released in Korea on May 21, achieving box office success by drawing 574 viewers nationwide.
Following their attendance at the Cannes Film Festival, Director Yeon Sang-ho and Jun Ji-hyun will once again attend an international film festival together. It is expected to be a special experience for them, as they are attending an overseas festival following the film's strong box office performance in Korea.
The New York Asian Film Festival will run from July 10 to July 26 at five theaters across New York.
