Captain Son Heung-min, when faced with a barrage of questions from reporters, briefly replied, "I am sorry," before bowing his head and exiting the airport.

In a different atmosphere from the arrival of head coach Hong Myung-bo the previous day, fans offered words of comfort to Son and the other players, saying, "You worked hard," and "Don't hang your heads."
