
The Disney and Pixar animation Toy Story 5 has topped the box office for 14 consecutive days, surpassing 1.7 million viewers nationwide.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater admissions on July 1, Toy Story 5 maintained its number one spot at the box office by drawing 42,011 viewers nationwide on June 30. The cumulative number of viewers stands at 1,700,047.
Since its release on June 17, Toy Story 5 has not relinquished the top spot for a single day, continuing to increase its audience numbers. It is expected to surpass 2 million viewers this weekend.
Toy Story 5 follows the story of traditional toys such as Jessie, Woody, and Buzz, who reunite and embark on an unpredictable journey after facing an unprecedented crisis with the arrival of Lilypad, a smart tablet that becomes their owner Bonnie's new friend. Actors from the previous series, including Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, and Joan Cusack, have teamed up once again to provide the voices for Woody, Buzz, and Jessie.
