The Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, a premier festival for genre cinema, kicks off tomorrow, July 2.

This year, more than 300 films will be screened, and Chinese star Fan Bingbing is set to attend.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival will screen 321 films from 50 countries, the largest scale in its history.

Tomorrow's opening ceremony will be attended by directors such as Lee Joon-ik and Kwak Kyung-taek, as well as director Lee Sang-min, whose horror film "Salmokji" drew 3 million viewers.

Notably, French actress Isabelle Huppert and Chinese actress Fan Bingbing will attend to receive the Achievement Award and the Global Icon Award, respectively.

During the festival, director Choi Dong-hoon and actor Yoo Hae-jin will meet with audiences to mark the 20th anniversary of the film "Tazza." Attendees will also be able to see the girl group Fifty Fifty, who are making their acting debut in the teen occult comedy film "After School Exorcism Club: Girls' Night."
