Hollywood actor Matt Damon is reportedly planning to visit South Korea to coincide with the release of his new film, 'The Odyssey.'

In a recent interview with the American entertainment magazine People, Damon stated that he would be holding premieres in Europe, Mumbai, Beijing, and Seoul as part of the promotional tour for the film.

If Damon visits, it will be his third trip to Korea and his first in 10 years, following his visit for the release of 'Jason Bourne' in 2016.

'The Odyssey,' which is set to be released on July 5, is a film based on the ancient Greek epic poem of the same name.

The film is directed by Christopher Nolan and stars Matt Damon, Tom Holland, and Anne Hathaway.
