The two students entered a classroom while classes were in session and began shooting at their classmates, leaving the students to hide under their desks in terror.

The incident resulted in 3 deaths and 20 injuries. It is highly unusual for a minor to carry out a shooting at a school in the Philippines, drawing intense attention to the motive behind the crime and how the firearms were obtained.
