A fire broke out at a warehouse building belonging to a staffing agency in Deokjeong-dong, Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, at around 1:00 p.m. today (June 29).

While there have been no casualties reported so far, the fire started in a single-story sandwich panel warehouse and spread to an adjacent three-story commercial building.

Fire authorities have deployed 64 personnel and 22 pieces of equipment to contain the blaze and are currently working to extinguish it.

Once the fire is fully extinguished, authorities plan to investigate the exact cause and the extent of the damage.

The City of Yangju issued a safety alert, advising nearby residents to move away from the scene and urging drivers to take alternative routes.
