For the first time this year, a heat wave advisory has been issued for all of Seoul.

Heat wave advisories have also been issued for other areas, primarily in the central region.

In areas under the advisory today (June 29), it will be hot with the perceived temperature rising to 31°C (88°F) or higher.

Let us take a look at the daytime temperatures in other regions.

The daytime high in Cheongju is expected to reach 33°C (91°F), and Daegu will reach 31°C (88°F).

Showers are also forecast for western regions today.

Due to the nature of these showers, there will be significant differences in precipitation even within the same area.

Additionally, some areas may experience hail, so caution is advised.

The sky will be clear, and the sun will be strong during the day.

It is recommended to refrain from outdoor activities until 3 p.m., when the sun is at its strongest.

Because of the strong sunlight, ozone levels, which are harmful to the respiratory system, will also be high.

Showers are also forecast for various inland areas tomorrow, and rain will begin in Jeju on Wednesday, with rain clouds expanding to areas south of Chungcheong by the latter half of the week.
