A fire that broke out at a factory in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, has been extinguished after approximately eight hours.
The Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters announced that the blaze at a household goods manufacturing plant in Jangan-myeon, Manse-gu, Hwaseong, was fully extinguished at approximately 11:40 p.m. yesterday (June 28).
Fire authorities received a report of the fire at the factory around 4:00 p.m. that day and briefly issued a Level 1 emergency response to contain the flames.
About 20 people evacuated, and it has been confirmed that there were no injuries.
Fire officials are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire by questioning witnesses and others.
