A man in his 40s has been apprehended by police in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, on charges of causing a traffic accident while driving under the influence of alcohol.

At approximately 6:10 p.m. today (June 28), a vehicle driven by the man, identified as A, collided with a city bus that was making a right turn on a road in Wongok-dong, Ansan, Gyeonggi Province.

It was reported that no one was injured in the accident.

Police investigation revealed that A's blood alcohol concentration at the time of the accident was at a level warranting the revocation of his driver's license.

The police have booked A on charges including drunk driving and plan to investigate the exact circumstances of the accident.
