A fire has broken out at an equipment parts manufacturing factory in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, and firefighting efforts are currently underway.

The Gyeonggi Fire and Disaster Headquarters stated that they received a report of a fire at a parts manufacturing plant in Jangan-myeon, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, at approximately 4:01 p.m. today. Fire crews were dispatched to the scene, and nine people have successfully evacuated on their own so far.

Twenty minutes after receiving the report, at 4:22 p.m., the fire department issued a Level 1 response, mobilizing all personnel and equipment from the local fire station to extinguish the blaze.
