A fire of unknown origin broke out at a restaurant inside Daein Market in Dong-gu, Gwangju, at approximately 3:50 a.m. today (June 28).

The fire, which completely burned the interior of the restaurant, was extinguished by the 119 emergency services 19 minutes after they arrived at the scene.

Fortunately, there were no casualties.

Fire authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
