A fire broke out at a vinyl greenhouse used as a warehouse in Daeya-dong, Siheung, Gyeonggi Province, around 10:00 p.m. yesterday (June 27).

There were no casualties, but one vinyl greenhouse structure was completely destroyed before the fire was extinguished about 40 minutes later.

Immediately after the fire started, the city of Siheung sent out an emergency disaster text message stating, "A large amount of black smoke is being generated due to a fire in Daeya-dong. Vehicles in the area should detour, and nearby residents are advised to keep their windows closed."

Fire authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire.
