A foreign national in her 60s who collapsed near Gwongeumseong Fortress in Seoraksan National Park has been transported to a hospital in cardiac arrest.
The Seoraksan National Park Office stated that a report was received at approximately 3:05 p.m. today (June 27) that a Polish woman in her 60s had suddenly collapsed on a trail near the upper cable car station of Gwongeumseong Fortress.
The National Park Special Mountain Rescue Team and fire authorities transported the woman, who was in cardiac arrest, to a nearby hospital.
Police and fire authorities are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
