An 80-year-old man died after a fire broke out at a detached house in Nae-dong, Gyeongsan, North Gyeongsang Province, at approximately 7:50 a.m. today (June 27).

Firefighters arrived at the scene following a report and fully extinguished the blaze about an hour and 10 minutes later.

Police and fire authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
