Sunny Weekend Nationwide with Scorching 32°C Heat; Caution Advised for UV Rays

Clear skies will continue throughout this weekend.

There is no rain in the forecast, and the weather will be marked by scorching heat.

Inland regions, including Seoul, will see temperatures soar to around 32°C (90°F), making it hotter than yesterday. Meanwhile, the east coast, influenced by easterly winds, will remain relatively cool with Pohang reaching only 25°C (77°F).

Nationwide, caution is advised regarding strong solar radiation.

The UV index will reach very high levels in most regions, and climb to the highest danger level in parts of the Chungcheong and southern provinces.

It is recommended to engage in indoor activities between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Until this morning, fog will be somewhat dense in various inland areas, and high swells will continue to hit the southern coast and Jeju coast until the morning.

Current temperatures are starting at 20.8°C (69°F) in Seoul, which is about 3 degrees higher than at the same time yesterday. Daytime highs are expected to reach 32°C (90°F) in Daejeon.

Tomorrow, rain showers are expected only in Incheon, northern Gyeonggi Province, and northern Gangwon Province.
