The Broadcasting, Media and Communications Commission announced that it has selected two small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as recipients for TV advertising support through the second open call for the '2026 SME Broadcast Advertising Support Project.'
This project was established to support the production of broadcast advertisements for SMEs and small business owners, helping them expand sales channels and revitalize the broadcast advertising market.
Among the 37 SMEs that applied for the second round, the final recipients were selected based on a comprehensive evaluation of eligibility, revenue scale, broadcast advertising utilization plans, and product competitiveness.
Selected companies will receive up to 45 million won, covering 50% of their TV commercial production costs.
They will also be provided with customized professional consulting covering the entire process of broadcast advertising planning, production, and utilization.
Previously, the Commission selected 23 SMEs and 114 small business owners for support through the first round of the project this year.
Including this second round of recruitment, the total number of SMEs and small business owners receiving broadcast advertising support this year has increased to 139.
The selected companies are now set to expand their sales channels using TV advertisements through the production cost support and professional consulting provided.
Kim Jong-cheol, Chairman of the Broadcasting, Media and Communications Commission, stated, "Broadcast advertising is an effective means to promote companies and products and reach new customers," adding, "We will continue to provide support so that more SMEs can grow through broadcast advertising."
