The Republic of Korea Army announced today (June 26) that it will establish the Army Inspection Training Center on July 1 to enhance expertise in the field of inspection.

The center, to be located at the Army Administrative School in Yeongdong-gun, North Chungcheong Province, will serve as the military's first dedicated educational institution for inspection. Staffed by officers and civilian employees with prior inspection experience, the center will oversee basic training for new inspectors, specialized job training courses, and refresher training for incumbent personnel.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) will also cooperate on the training curriculum of the Army Inspection Training Center.

Experts from the ACRC are scheduled to participate in the center's training programs to provide instruction on handling and investigating civil complaints in the defense and military sectors, as well as to support research on methods for resolving such complaints and improving relevant systems.
