A woman in her 40s has been arrested for allegedly swearing at and spitting on a police officer during a "vote counting station blockade protest" at Olympic Park in Seoul.

Last night (June 25), the Seoul Eastern District Court issued an arrest warrant, stating that there is a risk of the woman fleeing and a possibility that she might repeat such behavior.

The woman was arrested in the act on the morning of June 23 at the Olympic Park Handball Gymnasium in Seoul after she asked for the name of a police officer who was managing the protest site, and then proceeded to spit on and verbally abuse the officer.
