The KOSPI index rose by more than 6% during intraday trading today (June 25), reclaiming the 9,000-point mark.
According to the Korea Exchange, the KOSPI reached 9,000.88 at approximately 2:24 p.m. today, up 529.86 points or 6.25% from the previous trading day, successfully recovering the 9,000 level.
In the KOSPI market, institutional investors are net buying 3.8843 trillion won worth of stocks. Conversely, individual investors and foreign investors are net selling 2.8014 trillion won and 1.1128 trillion won, respectively.
Among stocks with the largest market capitalization, Samsung Electronics is up 6.02% and SK Hynix is up 14.65%, leading the index's upward trend.
In particular, SK Hynix hit a 52-week high during the session, trading as high as 2,961,000 won, a 14.77% increase.
