In a rural town in Texas, USA, a large trailer transporting millions of honeybees overturned in an accident.

The impact caused hundreds of beehives on the vehicle to spill onto the road, and in an instant, the bees scattered in all directions, quickly covering the surrounding roads and residential areas.

Residents were advised to close their windows and doors and shelter indoors.

Beekeepers were urgently deployed to the scene to locate the queen bees and lure the bees back into their hives.
