Today, June 25, temperatures across the country will remain below 30°C (86°F), keeping the heat at bay.
However, you should prepare for strong showers.
Showers are expected to fall primarily in the central and southern inland regions from this afternoon through tonight.
The expected precipitation ranges from 5 to 60mm, with up to 80mm of heavy rain forecast for inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province.
In these areas, particularly across central regions and northern Gyeongbuk, showers may pour down at a rate of 30mm per hour.
Please exercise caution as these showers may be accompanied by gusts of wind, lightning, and hail in some areas.
Meanwhile, the east coast will see an additional 5 to 10mm of rain, which will mostly taper off by the afternoon.
The country will see passing clouds today, while the Yeongnam region and Jeju Island will be mostly cloudy.
Strong swells are expected to hit the coast of Jeju Island for the time being.
Current temperatures in most regions are hovering around 20°C (68°F), similar to yesterday morning.
Highs will reach 27°C (81°F) in Seoul and Jeonju, and 25°C (77°F) in Daegu, keeping the heat relatively mild.
Showers are expected in some inland areas tomorrow, while the weekend is forecast to be mostly clear.
