Choi Soo-young, a current member of the Korea Communications Commission who gained fame for his eloquence on current affairs programs over the past eight years, has showcased his talent for words once again by publishing a new book, "Languages of Accumulation: Words That Empower, Writings That Inspire."

"Languages of Accumulation" is a collection of aphorisms that compiles the thoughts and reflections of the author, who is now in his middle years, accumulated throughout his career as a newspaper reporter, a presidential administrator, and a current affairs commentator.

The book is divided into eight chapters: Love, Sports, The Era of Short-form Aesthetics, Life's Voyage, Politics, On Hope, The Chilling Truth, and What is Courage.

The author advises readers to face chilling truths that can clarify their vision, arguing that words filled only with empty comfort can lead to "emotional diabetes."

The author describes this stage of life by stating, "The time spent living as leaves after the flowers have fallen is the real life."

The book also reflects the author's warm perspective as he navigates the second half of his life.

Born in a coastal town in Gangwon Province, the author began his career as a newspaper reporter and has served as a presidential administrator, head of the management planning office at the Korea Communications Agency, and a member of the KBS Viewer Committee. In 2024, he also hosted the program "Issue & People" on YTN Radio.

Having actively communicated with the public as a political commentator and broadcaster, he was appointed as a member of the Korea Communications Commission in March and is currently dedicated to establishing media policies.
