The Pakistani government, which is mediating ceasefire negotiations between the United States and Iran, announced on June 24 (local time) that the temporarily suspended working-level talks between the two countries are scheduled to resume next week.

According to AFP and China's state-run Xinhua News Agency, Tahir Andrabi, spokesperson for the Pakistani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said at a regular briefing on the same day, "The (working-level) talks are expected to resume next week, likely on Tuesday (the 30th)," while adding, "It could also be on Monday (the 29th) or Wednesday (July 1)."

However, he did not disclose which country would host the additional working-level talks between the U.S. and Iran.

Spokesperson Andrabi emphasized that Pakistan and Qatar, as mediating nations, will continue to work with U.S. and Iranian delegations over the coming weeks to ensure the effective implementation of the ceasefire Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
