Singer G.NA has signaled her return to the music scene with a remake of her signature song, "I'll Get Lost, You Go Your Way."
G.NA recently shared the results of a fan poll on her social media, stating, "Through a two-day vote, the first remake song has been decided as my debut track, 'I'll Get Lost, You Go Your Way.' Thank you to everyone who voted, left comments, and shared your memories. While reading your messages, I felt once again that this song holds a special meaning not only for me but for many others as well."
She added, "It has been a long time since I looked back on this period of my life, but strangely, I feel this is the most appropriate song to start over with. I am currently working on the remake version. I am excited and, honestly, a bit emotional thinking about sharing it with you all once it's finished."
In a video message, G.NA also shared, "I debuted with this song 16 years ago. It is a very powerful song in my life. This version is a bit different from the original. It is closer to a ballad style centered around guitar and piano." She continued, "If the original captured the intense emotions of a breakup, I wanted to capture the sentiment of loving someone but having to part ways—a 'smiling sadness'—in this version."
"I'll Get Lost, You Go Your Way" was G.NA's debut song released in July 2010. It gained immense popularity, topping music shows just one month after its release, and established itself as her representative hit song.
G.NA effectively suspended her entertainment career after being fined in 2016 for violating South Korea's anti-prostitution law. Since then, she has been living primarily in the United States and has occasionally shared updates on social media. Regarding the allegations, G.NA has repeatedly maintained that "everything is a rumor" and has expressed her intention to return to music.
