TV personality Ji Yeon-soo (45) shared her thoughts on the news of her ex-husband, a U-KISS member ELI (35), getting remarried.

On June 22, Ji Yeon-soo calmly spoke about ELI starting a new family with his partner on June 14, sharing on her YouTube channel, "I knew about his marriage. I just didn't know when it would happen." Ji Yeon-soo and ELI share a son, Min-soo, and divorced in 2020 after six years of marriage.

She continued, "To be honest, my very first thought was about Min-soo. Some of the other parents know who Min-soo's father is, so I was worried that he might hear about it at school and get hurt." However, she shared that Min-soo already knew about his father's remarriage and reacted maturely, even offering his congratulations.

Ji Yeon-soo added, "He is still in his 30s. It's an age where he should live his life, whether that means getting remarried or having children. I feel like I've already found my happiness with Min-soo. He is just finding his own happiness a little later than I did. Since he made this decision, I genuinely hope everything goes well and that he is happy."

Ji Yeon-soo and ELI previously appeared together on TV Chosun's reality show "We Got Divorced" in 2022. Although the appearance led to various misunderstandings and controversies, she opened up about the show, saying, "We did it to make a living. We chose that show for our livELIhood, and it's true that we earned money in exchange for exposing our private lives." She confessed, "However, that was a choice made by adults, not Min-soo. I always feel sorry to him for that."

Addressing the ongoing fake news on YouTube, Ji Yeon-soo emphasized, "I saw on YouTube that people thought I had remarried. There were rumors that I remarried a dentist who is five years younger than me and even had a daughter. In reality, I've never even met such a person. Seeing things completely unrelated to my life spread as if they were true made me realize I need to distance myself from such fake news. I don't want to be involved in any rumors. I just want to live as myself."

Meanwhile, Ji Yeon-soo is currently raising her son, Min-soo, while balancing running a restaurant and continuing her broadcast activities.
