Samsung Electronics' 6th-generation High Bandwidth Memory (HBM4) has reportedly become the first in the industry to surpass $1 billion in revenue, equivalent to approximately 1.54 trillion won.

According to industry sources on Tuesday (June 23), Samsung Electronics achieved this milestone as demand for HBM4 has surged recently. Samsung Electronics reached this result about four months after it began mass production and shipment of HBM4 for the first time in the world on February 12.

If the benchmark is set for the end of June, revenue is expected to exceed $1.2 billion, or approximately 1.85 trillion won. As the supply of Samsung Electronics' HBM4 has increased rapidly since its launch, it is analyzed that the company's market share in the HBM sector is also expanding significantly.
