Lee Gi-taek Asks Venerable Pomnyun, "Did I Fail to Fit In?" on 'Sunim & Sonim'

Venerable Pomnyun responded to a question from Lee Gi-taek.

On the episode of the SBS program 'Sunim & Sonim' that aired on the 16th, Lee Gi-taek posed a question to Venerable Pomnyun.

During the broadcast, Lee Gi-taek asked, "I don't really like standing out. Because of that, I wondered if I was an outsider. Did I fail to fit in?"

In response, Venerable Pomnyun said, "You fit in well, but you are relatively quiet. Aren't you naturally a quiet person?" He added, "Even so, you were very attentive, asking if I wanted some water or if there was anything I needed, which I appreciated."

He continued, "You are a man of few words, but you were friendly and reliable. You took the best care of me," expressing his gratitude.

Ahead of their final schedule in India, Venerable Pomnyun returned the suitcases to his guests. He then asked them how they felt about living with only a single bag for the past four days.

Lee Sang-yoon drew laughter by honestly saying, "The situations where I had to reuse my underwear weren't exactly pleasant."

To this, Venerable Pomnyun offered some advice that caught viewers' attention, saying, "Doesn't it not really matter if you wear the same clothes? Why don't you try walking the path of finding happiness while using less?"
