On the 12th, the production team of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'My Royal Nemesis' teased the plot for episode 11, revealing that the protagonist Shin Seo-ri (played by Lim Ji-yeon) wakes up in the body of Kang Dan-sim from 300 years ago, marking her return to the Joseon era.

'My Royal Nemesis' is a high-stakes romantic comedy about Shin Seo-ri, an unknown actress possessed by the soul of a notorious villainess from the Joseon Dynasty, and Cha Se-gye (played by Heo Nam-jun), a ruthless conglomerate heir dubbed a monster created by capitalism. The show has proven its overwhelming domestic and international popularity, ranking first in the integrated TV-OTT buzz rankings for three consecutive weeks according to the K-content competitiveness analysis agency Good Data Corporation (June 1 – June 7), and soaring to second place on the Netflix Global Top 10 Non-English TV Shows list (Tudum, June 1 – June 9).

In the previous episode, Cha Se-gye realized that the Kang Dan-sim he saw in his dreams was actually the current Shin Seo-ri, sparking a romance that transcends 300 years. However, the episode ended on a shocking note with a mysterious truck accident involving Shin Seo-ri and Cha Se-gye’s grandfather, Cha Dal-soo (played by Yoon Ju-sang), leaving viewers heartbroken. This effectively put a brake on the romance of Shin Seo-ri, who had been boldly confessing her feelings to avoid repeating the pain of her past life.

The preview for episode 11, released after the broadcast, shows Shin Seo-ri waking up in the body of Dan-sim in the Joseon Dynasty, exclaiming, "Have I truly returned?", which has amplified curiosity about the upcoming plot. Adding to the tension is the meaningful gaze of the shaman Do-munyeo (played by Oh Min-ae) as she watches Shin Seo-ri, who has been forcibly summoned back to the Joseon era.

The key point to watch moving forward is why Shin Seo-ri, who had time-traveled from the Joseon Dynasty to the 21st century, has become trapped in Dan-sim's body once again, and whether she will be able to return to the side of Cha Se-gye, who has been left alone in the 21st century.

Episode 11 of 'My Royal Nemesis', which will capture the direction of the two leads' time-defying romance, airs tonight (the 12th) at 9:50 PM.
